Harry Potter All the figures are from the Order of the Phoenix range since the story was shot long before the Half Blood Prince figures came out.

The security guard is from a Poundstretcher series of Cops n Robbers that have proved very useful for the AFT.

This is one of several ideas that had been kicking around for a new Harry Potter AFT. One of the restrictions about a story set in the 'Potterverse' is that within J.K.Rowling's tightly plotted story, there isn't room for anything really earth shattering. This story began life as a story that explored what Voldemort was up to, something that's not clearly depicted in the books.
One of the effects of this story is to set up a possible method of travelling between universes. The AFT has always kept the worlds of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Doctor Who and others separate but always had one eye on the possibility of blurring the lines between them for a bit.

The bulk of this story was shot back to back with Doctor Who: Forget Me Nots. It uses the same church set, although redressed to appear as the museum and as Hogwarts.
Among the artefacts in the museum are the Sarcophagus from a Pharoid micronaut. The glass case contains the body swap device used in our Doctor Who story Backwards. The Star of Protagorus itself is a wand with a spider on the end that came with a cheap pound shop wizard figure.
Some additional shooting was necessary for Dumbledore's office, the library and Snape's office. These all used the same walls, redressed and lit differently. Indiana Jones' Holy Grail is used here as Dumbeldore's Pensieve.
Along side these scenes was the scene where Snape meets with Voldemort. By this time, we'd got hold of a Bellatrix figure and since she's one of my favourite characters, I couldn't resist putting her in it.
The final pick up shots were of Harry's recovery.

During the first shooting block, the script was still unfinished so Death Eaters were filmed flooding into the museum. Since the subsequent battle was clearly just between Dumbledore and Voldemort, the Death Eaters were edited out. Moody was also filmed appearing in the museum after the battle.

It's hard to put this strictly into JK's tight continuity so I won't try.
Dumbledore disarms Voldemort with "Expulsum". I can't imagine Dumbeldore using a simplistic spell like 'expeliarmus' so I created a slightly more powerful and adult version.
He continues with 'Subverto' a latin word for 'destroy'. I chose this word because of its clandestine connotations as Dumbeldore in fact hides the artefact rather than destroys it.
No one can apparate into or out of Hogwarts because of magical charms around the building. So how does the Death Eater appear to Snape? In the original script he's just a face in a jar but this was forgotten when it was filmed. I suggest that it's a mirage similar to communicating via the flue network.
