On 4th September 2012, my nephew texted me. He had an idea for an AFT story and could he come round and make it?
He'd often told me there should be more superhero stories on the site and I've always encouraged him to write one.
Inspired by the latest Superhero story, Catfight In Gotham and the behind the scenes revelation of who Catwoman was to sell the diamond to, James came up with a great little sequel.

While James had come up with the storyline, we sat down together and worked out the script, frame by frame.
I helped with just a couple of bits of dialogue.
We had the script nailed in about an hour on 5th September.

We started shooting with the set that needed the most number of pictures- the temple interior, then switched to the exterior.
It was at this point that the camera ran out of charge, so I had to complete the session using my phone. There doesn't seem to be a noticeable change in quality though.
Next we set up Catwoman's apartment followed by the city streets with the truck driving down them. The truck is from Indiana Jones and was to have been driven by the two Chap Mei policemen from the original Catwoman story. However, they were two wide to sit in the cab and were replaced by the DC Infinite heroes Gotham SWAT team.
The last frame to be shot was, ironically, the first one with Hogwarts Great Hall playset standing in for the Gotham Museum.

In an effort to get the story up on the site as quickly as possible, I spent the next morning editing it.
The most arduous part being replacing the view outside Catwoman's window with the Gotham skyline. In hindsight, I should have used green or orange paper in the window which would have been easier to replace digitally.
One other thing I forgot during editing was to make Batman's dialogue white on black to suggest his growling voice so page two had to be tweaked.

With all editing completed, I posted the story up on 6th September 2012. Less than a day after the script was written.
I think that might be an AFT record...

It has no links with any comic or movie continuity but is a sequel to the AFT's own Catfight In Gotham.
